These strawberry almond vitality balls are jam stuffed with sound fixings, and they just take 5 fixings and 5 minutes to make. Before long enough these will be a normal in your supper prep rotation. If you've advanced around the web, you've likely observed a couple of plans for "rapture balls" or "vitality balls". Whatever you call them, they're out there, and they're great.

In case you're advanced around Cozy Peach Kitchen, you've most likely observed that I adore strawberries. Thus, today I present to you no prepare strawberry almond vitality balls, the ideal snappy bite or sweet tooth quencher.

These little chomps of tastiness (sorry, I truly like them!!) contain strawberries, dates, almonds, dry oats, and destroyed coconut drops. Dates are the foundation of these strawberry almond vitality balls, as a result of their sweetness.

They are starch thick, which equivalents vitality. Thus, vitality balls! Since date sugars are appended to fiber, nutrients, and minerals, they're a superior choice for a sweet vitality kick than unadulterated table sugar.

Ingredients  :
  • 1 cup pitted medjool dates
  • 4 medium strawberries, sliced
  • 3/4 cup slivered almonds
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats, dry
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut flakes

Instructions  :
  1. Combine all ingredients, except the coconut flakes, in a food processor. Process until almonds are broken up into tiny pieces (not fully ground) and the ingredients form a paste-like consistency (as pictured in blog). You should be able to form the dough into a ball without too much sticking to your hands. Form into 13-14 ping pong sized balls and let rest in the fridge for about an hour*.
  2. Pulse the coconut flakes in the food processor, or chop up finely by hand until they are broken down into small pieces. Roll the chilled balls in the coconut flakes. Store in fridge for up to a week. Enjoy!
  3. Notes
  4. The energy bites don't have to rest in the fridge, it just makes the coconut flakes stick more easily. I also think they taste best chilled.
  5. Slivered almonds are almonds that have been thinly sliced (this will make it easier for them to break down). You can find them in the baking aisle of most grocery stores.
  6. I recommend using a food processor, but if you don't have one you can use a high-powered blender. Use a blender that is strong enough to break down nuts.
  7. Fresh or frozen strawberries can be used.
  8. To freeze, use parchment or wax paper to make layers between energy balls (this will prevent them from sticking together). Keep frozen in an air-tight container for up to 3 months.
